Mother’s Day Concert – Running orders

Please note the change to the Loading Crew time to 11:00 a.m.

Please meet at Reynolds at 11:00 instead of 9:00 on Sunday.

Band Schedule – week of May 6th

Hello All,

Here comes a really big week. All of our ensembles are performing very important performances this week and next. Extra rehearsals are planned and we are in need of tremendous support from everyone to make this as
successful as we can.

We are in desperate need of help to move gear to and from Reynolds for the Mother’s Day Concert at Playfair Park next Sunday.  We have a big Trailer that can haul the equipment but we need people to help move things
and help set it up. Please consider volunteering some time and effort to this
event.

Monday
7:15 am Marching Band
3:15 pm Senior Tour Jazz Band
7:00 pm Senior Tour Band Meeting in the Bandroom

Tuesday
7:15 am Mother’s Day Concert Band ( All Grade 10,11 and 12 Band Students)
Lunch
Mother’s Day Jazz Band. (All Grade 9&10 Jazz Band Students)
3:15 pm Senior Tour Jazz Band

Wednesday
5:00 am Senior Tour Band Meet at Victoria Intn’l Airport
7:15 am  Mother’s Day Jazz Band – Meet with Mr. Underwood

Thursday
7:15 am Mother’s Day Concert Band – Meet with Mr. Wilson
Lunch Mother’s Day Jazz Band – Meet with Mr Underwood
7:00 pm Senior Tour Band Performance at Martingrove Collegiate in Toronto

Friday
7:15 am Marching Band
1:15 pm Mother’s Day Loading Crew Pack up Gear
All Mother’s Day Performers remember to take home Instruments
and Music (Parents: please help by reminding students to do this.)

Sunday
9:00 am Loading Crew meet at Reynolds to pack up Gear and set Gear up at Playfair Park

1:30 pm Call Time All Mother’s Day
Concert/Jazz Band Students and Alumni Band Members

2:00 pm 32nd Annual Mother’s Day Concert begins

Approx. 3:30 pm Concert Ends everyone helps

Thank you all….. This will be a real test of our organizational ability. I really appreciate everyone’s help with this.
I know I can’t be in two places at once…. I’ve
been told…. But this Band Program can because it’s got depth and I
look forward to the leadership and musicianship of our students and families.

JUNIOR BAND – CATCHING THE 5 PM FERRY

The buses made good time and are arriving ahead of schedule.  They should be arriving back at REYNOLDS around 7 p.m. this evening.

Saturday’s manure sale raised $7300!!  There are still about
300 bags left to sell, which will be sold THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 21 from 8:00 am  to noon.

We have shifts available for about 6 volunteers at each shift (the
manure is already bagged).

The two available shifts will be from 8:00 am to 10:15 and 10:15 to 12:30.
