Tree Recycling

This is a key annual fundraiser for the Reynolds Band, and this year, the event runs for 3 days: January 2nd (Holiday Monday), 7th (Saturday) and 8th (Sunday), from 9:30am to 5:00pm each day. Sign-up for both students and parents is available from our Tree Recycling page.

Another busy time leading up to the concert, with lots of musical and fundraising opportunities.  Some updates for you as we head into next week’s concert:

1.  Purdy’s/Poinsettias:  If you have NOT picked up your order(s), they are in the band room office.  They will also be available at next week’s concert (Wednesday, December 14) for pick up.  If there were any ERRORS in your order, please email Jude Shirley at studentaccounts@reynoldsband.com
2. Student Account Updates:  For those of you needing to write cheques for the band trips, and wish to use account money, Jude is updating the accounts to reflect Late Night Shopping, Purdy’s, Poinsettias, Coffee orders and Thrifty/Fairway cards.  She will be at the concert with information or you can see Bobbi Renton.
3. Bake Sale:  We have enough helpers (THANK YOU!) but are in need of baking! Please bring labelled goodies to the concert.  Many thanks.
4. Coffee Orders:  Orders are due Thursday December 8 for pickup at the concert.  We will also be selling coffee that evening, and customers will receive a free bench buddy with every pound of coffee purchased.
5. Hockey Tickets:  Tickets for February 7 Victoria Royals game will be available for sale at the concert.  Our Reynolds choir will be singing the national anthems. 
6. Holiday Strings Concert and Bake Sale:  Thursday December 15 at 7:00 pm at Oak Bay High, featuring the district strings groups.
7. Thrifty/Fairways:  Please send your orders in to Charles Kierulf ckierulf@shaw.ca as soon as possible for concert night pick up.
8. Tree Recycling:  Sheila Dodds will have more information about this year’s event (well, it is technically NEXT year) and information about our NEW ONLINE SIGNUP!!!  This is a significant fundraiser, both for the band, and individual students!

 Please try to remember to bring water and a coffee mug to the concert to help reduce waste, and so you can enjoy some Level Ground coffee along with your baking at the concert.
